Ryder System Implementation Manager, TM in NOVI, Michigan

Position Description

The Implementation Manager, TM position is responsible for client initiatives related to cost and service improvement and organic sales. The Implementation Manager will manage and develop client facing analysis. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. The position will require a high degree of customer interface and the ability to represent Ryder in customer meetings. The Implementation Manager will summarize and present carrier bid results to internal and external customers. The Implementation Manager is responsible for the collection and interpretation of customer requirements, preparation of RFP packages, RFP analysis, carrier analysis, creation and analysis of reports. Also responsible for interaction with customers and operating teams as well as ISO procedure maintenance. Implementation Manager will assist manager in training and serve as mentor to other members in the team.



  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics or related field of study required

  • Five (5) years or more experience in relevant industry (required)

  • Proficiency and understanding in all modes of transportation (required)


  • Analysis of all carrier pricing inputs

  • Develop and execute carrier bid events for all modes of transportation

  • Development of carrier strategy based on market factors and client needs

  • Management of key success factors across multiple functional areas

  • Creation and presentation of client historical pricing summaries

  • Communication of pricing expectations to carrier partners within all modes of transportation

  • Presentation of carrier solution to executive teams internal and external

  • Performs other duties as assigned
