Ryder is hiring a Weekend Shift Operations Technician in
McDonough, GA!
This position reports to the Operations Supervisor and is responsible for maintaining and balancing the inbound and outbound process of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to insure daily production needs are met, provide timely communications to other departments and leadership personnel, and support all other warehouse operation functions and personnel as assigned.
About the position:
Consistent pay: $19.00 + 2.00 shift differential/hour, paid weekly
Schedule: Friday - Sunday, 7:00AM - 7:30 PM
Requirements:
Strong verbal and writtern communication skills
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
Motivated & Dependable, able to work independently
High school diploma/GED required
Other requirements:Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug test

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years warehouse experience
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) Working knowledge of WMS systems
Forklift experience
Equipment certification may be required, depending on location
Responsibilities
Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance
Create and maintain daily dock schedules
Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and upating load statuses
Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve and problems with the day's orders
Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
Perform other duties as required or assigned
